They even took copies of my friend’s records, because later in the week we would be returning after a few nights in Key West. After a very frustrating conversation, we were finally all set. Luckily she brought copies of bank statements and emails with her, because when we arrived on November 30th, the two ladies at the front desk had no record of any reservations, or payment. Claudio assured her that we were all set, when she checked with him in October. When the lockdown occurred, she never bothered to ask for a refund, and she worked with Claudio, the manager, to rebook us for the end of November & early December 2020.

Originally booked for April 2020, she charged the rooms in full to her credit card. This was a girls trip, and one of my friends booked our rooms back before the world became aware of the pandemic. We expected our 2020 visit to be a bit different because of the strict pandemic protocols, but we never anticipated the major hassle and frustration connected with our room reservations and poor staff communication. Convenient to everything the area has to offer, a wonderful beach area, nice rooms, very clean, a decent price and a varied breakfast. We always enjoyed staying at the Hampton Inn in Key Largo. We were looking forward to another great trip to the Keys starting with Key Largo.

We stayed at another property earlier in the week in Islamorada and paid less for our room and got free use of kayaks and SUP while we were there.… We will definitely be back, but I felt like for the price we paid for our room and being a Hilton Honors member, they could've thrown in a free kayak or SUP rental. Sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer were in many locations. Another thing that impressed me was every indoor area we walked though was immaculately clean and smelled wonderful. We saw a mama manatee and her baby in the channel beside the hotel and the iguanas were running everywhere.so fun! My kids enjoyed snorkeling at the beach and saw several different sizes of fish. Other hotel staff always said hello to us when we passed them. They were so pleasant despite having to serve the guests in a short amount of time. Front desk staff was hard working and friendly, esp the breakfast staff. Everything was so clean and well maintained. A great place for families.they have fishing rod, SUP and kayak rentals, along with a pool and fitness center. Such a peasant surprise! The private beach area and tiki bar made me feel like I wasn't in Florida.
